Robert L. Lackey

Bob concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of business transactions and corporate law, nonprofit and charitable organizations, and estate planning.  His experience includes more than 20 years as general counsel to a community hospital, as well as decades of business and personal injury litigation, both plaintiff and defense.

Following service as a law clerk to the late Judge Albert E. Acker of the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County, Bob served in the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania, defending clients in Pittsburgh and Erie.  He joined what was then Evans and Garvey in 1981, becoming a partner in 1983, and served the law firm as managing partner for more than 30 years.

Married to his wife, Karen, for forty-seven years, they have four adult children and three grandchildren.  Bob and Karen reside in Hermitage.
